Saison is an American restaurant located in San Francisco, California. 

Our menu changes all the time, but always abides by a few simple constants. All of our cooking revolves around open wood fires. We work with live fish and shellfish, wild foods, and produce grown on our farm. And lastly, we steer clear of imported and commercial goods as much as possible, opting instead to build our own pantry through patient harvesting and preservation.

Services Fees and Tax

A service charge of 20% will be added to all food and beverage. California State Law requires that all goods and services sold or rented (including serviced charges) be subject to a 8.75% sales tax. If your organization is exempt from California State tax, the proper exemption forms must be submitted when contracts are signed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made outside of 90 days will receive a full refund. In the event that your agreement is cancelled less than 90 calendar days prior to the reservation the 50% deposit will be forfeited. In the event that the contract is cancelled in writing less than 30 days prior to the event, the entire remaining balance of the event will be charged and the 50% deposit will be forfeited.

Special services from outside vendors that are arranged upon your request by Saison, including but not limited to, flowers, audio-visual aids, entertainers, etc., shall be subject to these same cancellation policies. Cancellation of related one day entertainment permits issued by the City of San Francisco and obtained on your behalf will be subject to city guidelines.

Payment Terms

Saison requires the remaining balance of the agreement to be paid on or before the event date. A responsible credit card must be on file with Saison for this purpose although you may pay by cash or by a pre-approved company check at the time.

Space Hold and Requested Contracted Due Date

In order to make arrangements definite, we will provide a Letter of Agreement and request that it be returned as soon as possible with a deposit and the endorsed Group Event Credit Card Guarantee completed.

Dress Code

We do not have a dress code and welcome our guests to come as they are.


We serve dinner Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Reservations can be made as far as 90 days in advance. You can book a table online, or call and speak with our reservationist team between 10am and 6pm PST at (415) 828-7990 or email info@saisonsf.com.


A meal at Saison is whatever you want it to be—within reason. There are no set menus. Our team tailors each diner’s experience to the individual’s preferences and desired duration. Same with wine and beverages. Please let us know in advance what you prefer by calling our reservation team.


Saison has one of the country’s largest and most remarkable selections of Old and New World wines, with a special emphasis on Burgundy. Our sommeliers will happily guide you through the list and assist with wine pairings.


The cost of the tasting menu is $398 per guest, not including beverages.


We kindly ask that you arrive promptly for your reservation, but we understand that unforeseen events can force delays. If your party is running late, please let us know as soon as possible.

We offer valet parking directly in front of the restaurant. Street parking after 6pm is also generally easy to find (except on game nights at AT&T Park). 

There is no dress code at Saison. We invite you to come as you are.


Our team must commit well ahead of time to sourcing and purchasing the products for each night’s dinner. Any cancellations made within seven days of your reservation will incur a charge equal to the full menu price per guest.
